@Heidi68 I don't know if you like dried fruit, but it is really simple and retains almost all the nutrients. Food dehydrates have gotten a lot lesss expensive and you don't have to do a bushell at once anymore.

@Heidi68 Not if you want good fruit, trees naturally set more fruit than they can support and will abort some, but the primary reason is to spread seeds, so by eliminating the less desirable fruit, the tree puts more energy into making it attractive for someone to eat and spread its seed.

The caves were from about a quarter mile away with a 500 foot elevation difference, I wasn't going to hike that steep a trail with the shoes I was wearing.

I cut out several stops I was going to make,I missed my turn for the Salton sea, so I stayed on 10 instead of dropping to 8 and stopping in Yuma. I just tried to jam too much in too short a time. Except for the days in Las Vegas, nothing was the schedule I had planned. Maybe time after next I'm going to try for 3 more long trips this year.

Good Lord. This group represents Nothing as its name suggests. Yikes.

@Pralina1 It was great, there were two really good warmup acts, and she put on a 2 hour show. This trip has been a blast so far. I think I am going to cut out the last 2 stops and head home after tomorrow.So far it has been the painted desert, the petrified forest, the grand canyon, sunset crater national park, the skywalk, Las vegas, LA, the AZ desert and some tourist shoping sites. Tomorrow is Las Cruses and El Paso, then half the way home from EP. or maybe all the way home, depends on when I leave EP.

I have met nearly a dozen of the people on this site, and I look forward over the next 2 weeks meeting at least 3 more. The people that are willing to meet typically are pretty much who they seemed on the site, except sometimes nicer.

I didn't have to stop and think about this. When I was little, I used to have a little record player that I loved. There was a very distinct smell when I played it. It must have come from the motor, I am not sure. On rare occasions I will catch a whiff of something that reminds me of it.

Subpoena should go out to the tax firm today, going to get interesting. Especially if he owes the firm money, the firm asked for a friendly subpoena, which means they probably already have it boxed up and ready to ship.

Never get documents from one source when there are two avenues, go for both.
