I can see where they would be fun, but if you are a good dog owner, and it appears you are, you already know the traits they exhibit.
glennlab replies on Mar 26, 2019:
@graceylou That's one reason that we have fought so hard against breed specific legislation, too many breeds are misidentified and are so similar to others that if you try to write it with out using a breed name, but go by discription, you thow out huge classes of animals rather than make it owner legislation so that the one responsible is the one that is being punished.

I thought things would improve with the nearby gentrification, but now they just don't cover it for fear of pissing off their aedverstisers. As long as no one dies, not a story. Happy Saturday, have a great one with your coffee?
glennlab comments on Mar 23, 2019:
Good Morning, coffee was late this morning, I normally set my coffee up the night before, since I had to be up early, I went in, turned on the coffee, went about the preps for my morning meeting. After I had run the dishwater and was ready to let everything soak, I grabbed the coffee pot, it was ...

Anyone ever been involved in multi-level marketing (MLM)?
glennlab comments on Mar 21, 2019:
I have had clients that have gotten into it. Only one ever made money, then it was only 2 years followed by bust. The best advice I can give is put your hand on your wallet and back out as quickly as possible. If you need more info pm me I spent 30 years in accounting and consulting and can ...
glennlab replies on Mar 23, 2019:
@bleurowz The whole basis of the MLM system is to convince you to sign up friends and family, it is a numbers game at the top. Everytime that they sign someone up, if they don't make their sales quota, then those people end up belonging to the person above them. as long as thepeople at the bottom keep recruiting and quitting the people at the top keep making money on the overpriced starter kits. In the old days pre internet shopping, if you could time it right, you could make money and get out before market saturation occured. In today's markets, the overpriced starter kit is what the comapnies are making their money off of. If the emphasis is on building your downline rather than an actual product sale, it's a sham. Don't be to hard on your friend, I have seen some very intellegent people fall victim to the magical sales pitch, and the first couple of months some make money, but the vast majority don't.

@azzow2 my rule of thumb on the first try. If it tastes good, it was a success. We all know what it turns into once you eat it.

@Carin It's the plant that almost stopped the west from being settled. It stays green in the worst droughts, so when the donkeys saw it in the desert they ate it. The atropine caused them to hallucenate and run off.

Nightshade1313 comments on Mar 22, 2019:
You do not..... unless you have the same set up as Denver's offices that will test your strains and edibles for you at a cost every time. Right now, Im using a ratio of 3/4 lb of oil/butter to an OZ of top shelf weed. If someone KNOWS how .... tell me!
glennlab replies on Mar 22, 2019:
@Nightshade1313 Break your pot down, put in a mason jar, add about a pint of everclear (I buy 1.75s). close shake, shake each day for about a week, dump the entire mix in a crockpot, add a little water, add your oil, cook slow for 12-24 hrs on very low heat, do not allow the water to completely evaporate, the alcohol will be gone first. stain, place in fridge, once it solidifies, you've got a much stonger oil/butter.

glennlab replies on Mar 22, 2019:
@Carin It is a very close relative and has been somewhat domesticated, it is often mistaken for Jimson Weed, but still has levels of atropine that can cause hallucenations if taken in large enough quantities. Called moon flowers, Devils trumpet, loco weed all pretty much inter changably.

Wow, which Datura species is that, growing so low down on the ground? How hardy are they? I'd love seeds if they aren't too delicate.
glennlab replies on Mar 22, 2019:
I believe Inoxia, they can handle down to freezing, in most areas the root tuber will winter over for 3-5 years, Once daytime temps are over 70 degrees, they will sprout without too much trouble. Mine had over 300 blooms one night. The worst that can happen is it doesn't do as well as you hoped, they are very low maintenance. PM me your address and I'll mail them out to you.
Well girls and boys, I decided that I am going to do it.

@nogod Most people confuse the the form of government with the type of government and have a piss poor understanding of the levels of government. At the local level, some are actual democracies, some are representative democracies. Like you, I spent time in a civics class, now the same people that slept through those classes are trying to tell us what they never learned.
