Long distance only applies in the early phases of the relationship, I don't see that as a long term limiting factor.

I haven't seen any damage in my yard except a few things that got blown over. But I was grateful that i got to test the camping stuff before I left in April. That first stop is always a new learning curve to remember how everything is supposed to go together and which things have batteries and which things need something else.

glennlab replies on Mar 11, 2019:
@Robecology They are rising, as a result of not being able to release excess heat into the atmosphere. When the air is cooler, the ocean can release more heat, it does this through heat eachange in the sea mist generated by waves. If you have about six months I can explain the theories of heat exchanges between land masses, oceans, tropical storms, convection currents, glaciers and how much we still have to learn. Climate change is real.

I use pickling vinegar, its stronger and is the one reccommended in the organic lit. but I've used regular vinegar in a pinch and it works, but not as well. The chemical combination is what does the job, the soap strips off the protective coating, the vinegar actually burns the cells, then the epson salt pull the water out of the exposed cells, rupturing them. Kind of like pouring hydrogen and oxygen on a plant, does no harm but little good, combine them, and you have a wonderful vehicle to carry nutrients to all the cells of the plant.

He friended me on facebook about a year ago. I respond to his messages, but he can be extremely toxic. Dad's been dead for 63 years, mom for 23 years, there's really nothing to comnnect us. No, though I can see the charm in it. If I'm traveling, I usually find a coffee shop.
glennlab replies on Mar 9, 2019:
That's my normal go to, I've been to this particular city enough to have tried all the close by coffee shops, none are very good, And the hotel coffee is like strong tea, so this time I brought my own, and it is a much better start to the day.
Not the chocolate covered ones either.

I thought about leaving a note one time for someone who parked so close to my car that I had to climb in the passenger side to get in. And yes, my car was parked correctly between the lines. People are just assholes sometimes. This note was funny as hell, but I can never think of funny stuff like...

glennlab comments on Mar 7, 2019:
It sounds as if he is trying to see if you have a preference as to what you'd like to do. He should have an idea of your interests from your profile and should have given you some choices. Be the bigger person and give him 2 or 3 options of things you'd like to do.
glennlab replies on Mar 7, 2019:
@Stephanie99 Sorry i thought you were asking for the next step, He really should have had some things in mind when he called. I wasn't suggesting you coming up with the options on the spot, more as a followup if you were still interested.

@CaroleKay I took my son to see him in Downtown Dallas on a Sunday afternoon, 105 degrees and the fire marshals made them stop letting people in. The facility was rated for 4500 and there were close to 6000 by the exit counts. The rally was not announced until the night beforehand. I think his ground game will be much better this time.
