@Frankjd I carry 8 batteries, I get about 1-300 pics per battery, depending on focus, flash, etc. I was only going to get 4, but the charger came with 2, the camera 2, and the 4 pack. Most times it is more than enough, but several parties, I've gone through 3 or 4 with no problem.

@thinktwice You got to remember in our part of the country the chicken tail was called the preacher's nose, because it was the last thing to cross the fence. We had an entry, hall/sitting room, then the living room, then the dining room. Pretty much only family and business relations ever made it to the dining room. I don't believe I ever saw anyone but the maid and her oldest daughter in the kitchen. She normally wanted everyone to visit her at our store. She had uncomfortable chairs for company too.

@thinktwice I corrected the reply, I realized it was ambiguous before I proofread it. I wish I had the talent to paint, but that is one that skipped a generation, my grandmother, mother and son all have/had artistic artistic talent, I can't even stay inside the lines in a coloring book.
