It only became public when he was very publicly was nominated for the SC, this is only the tip of the iceberg and there are a multitude of personal failings that disqualify him from sitting on the SC for life. I'm stopping by the atomic weapons museum on Kirkland AFB and the petrified forest on the way there. I have an extra day built into my itinerary on the way, so I can take a side trip between Albuquerque and Las Vegas.

Mother Nature can be fickle and when you have 8 months of summer, I have a tendency to forget what I need to bring and be prepared for. We're getting hit by the remnants of the tropical depression right now so it's all flash flood warnings and power and satellite going in and out.

@CaroleKay The reason I scrape the seeds is the jelly tends to make the water cloudy. But I've heard cukes are just as good, i just normally had a good supply of squash, I used it to feed the gold fish in my pond and the tadpoles when they came in

@CaroleKay so many of the woods can leach either resin or tannin in the water. the best thing for the Pleco I have found is zucchini, cut it in half,scrape the seeds out, poke a twist tie it add a weight. Those rasping teeth will make short order of it.

@Insectra I remember growing up, every season someone would catch one 50 to 100 lbs. I'm glad that they are protected in a lot of areas now. They really are misunderstood, and tasty, but they taste to much like beef to justify harvesting them.

It was put up as a temporary installation, it will stay up at least until the end of the year, I don't know what the long term plans are. It is on public land, so the winds of change are fickle. I ill get more pictures when I go back to Vegas in early October.
