bleach is a modified chlorine compound, which dissolves the protein coating on viruses, vinegar is acetic acid which only affects gram negative bacteria. While they can be combined, there is a 20 second wet time for either . that means you it must remain on the surface for 20 seconds before you wipe it off in order to be effective. I use a 30% vinegar for cleaning in the kitchen, but that is for bacteria.

In my younger days, i was somewhat of an athlete, At a large track meet where there was considerable fanfare as the made the introductions for the lane assignments, I left my warmups on until just before getting into the starting blocks. Normally you just slide your hands between the warmups and your shorts and peel them off, then step out of them. I slid my hands in, peeled off my warmups and had just mooned 20,000 people. My shorts came off with my warmups. I took ribbing for that for several years.

It's almost as if....it doesn't do anything...

Our birds have been early, the bluejays have already fledged their first chicks, I put out dryer lint for the cardinals, now it's rained for 3 days, so once it dries out, I'll put out more. The doves and hawks are doing their dance in my trees, and the osprey has destroyed my hydroponic set up using it for a launching pad into the fish pond.

This is a new one , at least to me.

I have a large compost pile that I move from one side to the other as I add new material. I also dump all of my old pots into it to add volume to it. I add pine bark mulch to it each spring to keep my acid up and add new organic material. When i mix my pots, I add a layer of landscape pine bark mulch to the bottom of the pot, then a mix of compost, peat moss, and pine bark mulch to fill the pots. Most of my pots are 5-30 gallon, so it can take quite a volume. I top dress my mint pot (180 gallon) with compost then water it in..

California has a NEW voting by mail procedure that they are still working the kinks out of, and voting has not finished. I caution anyone that has a tendency to see things only as they benefit themselves from doing their own taxes. i have done other accountant's taxes just for that reason. just like a lawyer that hires another lawyer to handle a personal legal case. Second thing, just because you heard something or read it on the Internet, doesn't mean it is true or applies to you. If you have questions the IRS has pub 17 available in a searchable format for personal taxes and pub 334 for business. irs.gov will provide you with the pubs and printable blank forms.
