That way when the statute expires on the financial records rather than having to destroy a computer, I just have to destroy a hard drive. Back before I went to laptops, I kept my tax info on a separate hard drive and had it unplugged when tax season was over. Now that externals are so cheap, it is so much easier to plug and unplug.

@Pralina1 A lot of families have card tables set up for the kids since there is not enough room fro them at the adults table. You figure a family of 6 with each kid having 3-5 kids, there was not enough room at any normal table.
