Many people(including me) assume there is much more interest in things they post than there is so they post in the general forums rather than in the groups that are focused on them. It is human nature. I too get frustrated when there are multiple posts that I have little to no interest in, but I have learned to ignore them. You don't have to get very deep into a post before you realize you DGF about it. The general forums allow people to reach an audience that they don't always get in the groups so it opens them to wider discussion. I think the current system works fine, just remember that you don't have to read it just because it is there.

Had one in our store, I hated having to ice down the drinks after we loaded it. I had to take my wagon all the way to the ice plant what seemed like miles (3 blocks) to get crushed ice since they only delivered in the morning and we would fill it up right before closing in the afternoon.

There is very little that can be done without enabling legislation. Since the FDA approved them, there is a process that must be followed to remove them from the market. You have a product with a legitimate use that is being abused with unauthorized products. They could reclassify them which they can do with a simple publishing in the federal review. but unless they can show that the product as sold is the culprit, they are on shaky legal ground.

For comparison for each megawatt off nuclear energy (power plant only) we have 40 metric tons of steel and 456 metric tons of concrete (all radioactive ) to dispose of which require special handling. average plant size is 1 gigawatt so multiply those number by 1000 and all that waste is disposed of at the same time. life 60 years onshore wind turbines produce 2-3 megawatts per tower with less than 50 tons of fiber waste and are replaced one unit at a time. replaced at 10-20 year intervals So it is 500 tons of radioactive waste per megawatt vs 150 tons of currently nonrecylble waste over the same life span
