@puff I had a TS (SCI) (CNWDI)(SIOP) clearance. There are many copies of TS documents throughout the government and military. Very little of what is classified is classified to cover up anything. There are valid reasons for 99+% of all classified data. If the data were about Israel, it would be classified under dept of state rules, if it concerned their nuclear capability it would be classified TS . Since we have a mutual defense treaty and since Israel is a not signatory to the nonproliferation treaty there is no there there for violation of international law.

I don't think the FBI knew how good the telephoto lens were since they had forced the media back to where they believed no one would be able to record what they were doing. The breech itself was an illegal use of National Guard resources and violated numerous laws and protocols. I was involved in the Waco coverage from day 1, when we thought it would be a filler story.

One that is etched in my memory as a kid, we were watching a tornado on the other side of the lake as it touched down repeatedly, then it lifted and came down in the lake. It went from a deep blue to white, then dissipated. I used to love opening the curtains and looking out at the evening thunderstorms over the bay. It was all fun and games until the lightning started getting really close.

@chalupacabre There have been a few times that I actually went over that process in my mind. I could just see him continuing to make mistakes. It's a lot like entering your credit card number wrong, they don't tell you you fucked up until you are finished. I could see him trying to launch a limited nuclear strike, and erupting into "I'm the fucking president, just do it" and the professional on the other end saying "would you like to try again, sir?

It is my understanding from having visited there, that this is normal?

Growing up In Louisiana, it is similar, Subtropical and rain that you can't get away from. Umbrellas just keep you head dryish. It really scares me when the sky goes from black to green. I kind of miss it.

@MizJ I was just at the state convention last month, and the number of counties that we are flipping is amazing. The electoral math keeps getting more complicated. My Senatorial district flipped from being solid red to blue in one election cycle. After redistricting we are a solid blue district. The republicans are running out of voters in Dallas county to carve out.

@MizJ He has a lot of young people in his organization, so they are really pushing social media. He's also not writing off rural Texas, Some of those districts we lose by 20-60 points, but a lot of that is a feeling of being ignored by the liberal voters in those area. A gain of even 5 points in rural areas could push him over the top. Not so much changing minds, but in energizing the defeated.

It is actually a 28 alpha numeric digit code that must be read slowly and distinctly and there are different passwords for each of the different options available.
