@puff No NATO country right now is willing to fight Russia over Ukraine, but Ukraine is not now, nor has it ever been a member of NATO. NATO right now is more than willing to use it's old Soviet era weapons against the Russians via Ukraine. NATO countries are currently resupplying their own stockpiles with modern weapons to replace the ones given to Ukraine. The nuclear umbrella is a huge reason not enter into a conflict where you venture out from under it. Look only as the Israeli response in the Iraq war. There will not be an attack from a NATO nation on Russia, it would cost that nation too much, plus they still have too many weapons in the pipeline. No country has declined when article 5 has been invoked, and I don't see it happening. As far as asking the Aussies for support, you ask everybody for support.

I lost my ass, I needed the weight loss anyway. It was a very short trip, so not much but gambling and eating. I'm headed back in a few weeks, that should be more relaxed with a little more excitement.

@Lizard_of_Ahaz I have a dedicated nature preserve.It was way out of control nearly waist high in some places. I needed to get it knocked down so that i could reseed my clovers and other bee and butterfly friendly plants. I put two pounds of coriander seeds out. When I get back from Vegas, I'll put out the dill and fennel. We get snow every two or three years whether we need it or not.
