@Krish55 There are all types of bio research that are classified. We have possessed bio weapons since the 1960s so no new news there. Both the US and Russia have possessed bio and chemical weapons moat of which were uttter flops. Those facilities could be doing research on drugs, advanced biomedical advances, pesticides, agricultural needs, or weapons. It was still a joint US-Ukraine project with necessary precautions taken to stop it from falling into enemy hands. Many Soviet/Russian advances have come from stolen western projects, so it is a good practice not to just leave a research lab as is.

If all else fails, this might be an option.

@Tejas Over 100. Don't forget Texas just went through a very contentious open carry battle. By the way, that is incidents, not individuals. That does not include the yahoos that want to carry a pistol on their hip like they are in the wild west. I have seen more rifles and handguns exposed in urban areas than I ever did while hunting.

@Tejas I have seen idiots with guns in plenty of public places in Dallas and the surrounding areas. Most are libertarian or republicans, I know because in many cases I know them personally. They are neither well regulated nor well trained in gun safety. I also know a lot of people that conceal and carry, they are afraid of leaving their guns in the car, so they carry them into the bar, (a felony in Texas by the way). So many of these law abiding citizens are in fact uncaught felons. Not so well regulated.

@racocn8 If he uses nukes, it would be an error of the magnitude of attacking Pearl Harbor, or of attacking the USSR during the winter. It might give a momentary victory, but result in long term defeat. The Russian nuclear forces have not been maintained as well as they were under the Soviet Empire and we could expect a high failure rate, but that would still lead to unacceptable losses.

I would hate to be him, but if I was I'd be thinking of leaving the US or suicide

Battlefield weapons with low yields could destroy the cities with no resistance. Russia has a number of these low yield (less than 200 kilotons) weapons some as small as 100 tons of TNT equivalent. Trump allowed the proliferation of these weapons when he dissolved the intermediate range missile treaty with Russia.

That is about as close to the actual definition as you could get. Tactical weapons are defined by their use, not their yield. The same b-61can be tactical delivered by a F-22 or strategic if delivered by a B-2 bomber. Russia has had in its inventory an array of tactical battlefield weapons that are highly mobile and can fire from as close as 25 miles from the advancing troops. They also posses an array of intermediate range missiles. Yields range from a low of 100 tons of TNT to 600 kilotons .
