Once the vote has been certified, the election is over, once the congress has certified, there is nothing anyone can do to overturn the election. It looks like the republicans are the snowflakes that can't accept the outcome of elections. Lawsuits need to be filed before an election is certified. I have stuidied way more history than you apparently have with your massive generalizations with no facts to back them up and comparing totally unrelated events to make a meaninless point. Where is your proof that all investigations were shut down. Trump was still in charge until Jan 20. so anything you think happened happened on his watch. Take a government course.

Speaker of the House?
glennlab comments on Jun 21, 2021:
Delusional is the key word here, even if they were able and they were able to flip every senate seat that would only be +13 to 62 members, short of the 67 constitutionally required for removal. Let them dream, then hit them with this fact.

@Alienbeing You missed the point, they are saying that he could get back into the white house by impeaching both the pres and VP, that is where the senate comes in, Yes if they pick up 9 seats in the house, they could name trump speaker, but that is an administrative position than requires a lot of work and trump has never worked a day in his life.

It really depends on where you were from 1954 until the 80s, thjustice department went after it either one school district or state at a time. I went through intergration in both Texas and Louisiana. In La because the schools are actually controled by the state and parishes, they sued the state and parishes jointly, so only one case in 1966, In Texas because of the independent school districts, each district had to be sued separately, my district in Baytown signed a consent decree in 1967and fully integrated in 1968, Dallas DISD was not released from federal oversight until 2003.

No where did I say we shouldn't talk, however when compromise is all one sided, as it has been since at least 1996 in the US, it is time to take a stand and stop pussyfooting around. When the conservative leader says his only job is to make sure that the right of center president is a one term president, refuses to confirm his nominees and refuses to bring legislation up for even committee review, it is past time to bend over and take it up the ass again like you would have us do.

Agree, Clinton was a draft dodger but he didn't go there

@St-Sinner There was a difference between exposing himself to the draft and flat out lying and committing fraud. For the record I was in anti Vietnam War protests prior to enlisting to avoid the draft.

Someone shouldn't own a gun because accidents happen. You're delusional
glennlab replies on Jun 3, 2021:
@Smurfing101It does not meet the definition of an accident. She intended to fire the gun. Obviously did not have the proper target aquistion. Fired wildly ( missed her target with all three shot). Failed to determine her sourroundings, viol;ated numerous atate laws. The police determined that the dog was no threat to her based on the video evidence. Under Texas law if you cause a firearm to discharge you are responsible for all the actions that result from it whether intentional or not. Intent does not make the stiuking of her son an accident it make it an unintended consequence. She could have been charged with attempt capitol murder as others have when they did not intend to harm the person hit by ricochets. I am sorry that she shot her son, but she had no leagal right to discharge her weapon, so none of the reprecussions are accidents and it was a poor choice of words by the headline writer. The police and DA do not believe it was an accident, so I'm going to side with them.

glennlab replies on Jun 3, 2021:
I have no problem making money off delusional people. It follows the old adage that a fool and his money are soon parted. I am very clear that I make no claims about the efficacy of the product and they drone on and on about what each crystal or oil does and how it best used. They are almost evangelical in their beliefs.

glennlab replies on Jun 2, 2021:
@Smurfing101 They were neighbors in a subdivision, in north Houiston, she came out with the apparent intention of killing the dog, The fact that she was charged, and the doorbell camera footage show that the dog presented no threat to either her or anyone else at the time she started blindly shooting endagering every family in the neighborhood. She had no business . Hunting was a generous term vesus delibertate atempted destruction of private p[roperty (dog) . She is lucky, under Texas law she could have been charged with multiple felonies.

This was nmo accident, she illegally discharged her firearm and was charged with recless endangerment, not a responsible gun owner. Plus it appears she wasn't "protecting" anyone and instead was hunting this dog. A real winner you are supporting.
