A few problems with that. The seige started 2/28/1993, Reno was sworn in 3/12/93. The raid was conducted by ATF a division of Treasury. Stephen Higgins a Reagan appointee was head of the ATF and was fired by Clinton after the debacle. I never cared for Reno, but she was not in charge when it started.

@MissKathleen It was much harder on the gulf coast, but Dallas is on the edge of Texas desert. Not as hot and dry as you, but air drying will work here. As long as you have enough air circulating not to get mold, you are OK.

@TomMcGiverin There are several days of commeration that have been perverted by those that would usurp the day for their own cause, I am not one of those and I will correct those that do. It really got me that she was the best that the right wing could recruit. I really hope that she is prosecuted for the fraudulent loan applications. I had to do several for my clients and two of them, I told flat out that they were not qualified. There were only three questions of the applications, supply your 940, and last 2 941s, copy of your w-3 or transmittal form, and how much did you pay and multiply it by 2.5. That means she had to fraudulently apply for the PPP loans since she had no employees and not even contractors, but renters.

@WonderWartHog99 The information which eluded you is readily available if you do your research. I never claimed to have done detailed research, only reasonable research. You need to understand what your sources are saying . Basic journalism. I dealt with several of the publishing groups of the day, Tooley, Hartmant, Hearst, time-life, NYT in my everyday work. We owned a news service that send out daily news consolidations. We very seldom hired new reporters unless someone died, retired or decided to stay home with the baby. We paid the reporters to come in for their interviews if we were interested and typically had them back at least twice. I was a member of the Memphis Regional Postal customer council along with other major publishers as well as the National Postal Customer council where we would spend two days each quarter woerking on the problems of publishers and USPS. We normally stayed at the same hotels and cussed and discussed our respective owning agencies. While you may have read about publishers, I was dealing with publishers and owners. If you can't tell whether the owner of a news group is conservative, liberal or middle of the road by reading their publications, then you lack the investigative qualities that make a good journalist.

The sbuscription price has never covered much more the cost of newsprint and ink, not even the labor to print and deliver it. 3. It was the conservative owners that saddled the newspapers with debts that they could not support. 4. It was the conservative owners that would not invest in the equipment (in the 1990s forward)_to take advantage of the internet for those ad dollars. 5. This is far too complicated an issue to address in a few messages.

@LucyLoohoo, @TheDoubter Our editor at The United Methodist Reporter and The National Christian Reporter required that staff answer every letter that we received. He started that policy when our circulation was 40,000 and continued it when we were at nearly half a million/week. The administrative assistants would screen the letter and forward them to the person with the best expertise in the area of concern. You were expected to respond in less than a week. Sometimes it developed into some interesting correspondence back and forth.

People forget that everyone on the DNC is elected at least every four years and most every two years by their states or organizations. The reason there is no reform of the DNC, is all the bitchers stay home all butt hurt and don't bother to go to the conventions.

@WonderWartHog99 US budget proposals are normally very short documents, the current proposal is 138 pages. extending the retiiment age reduced the benefits thnat every person that had paid in to that point had earned, I never saw you as a trump apologist, I guess I was wrong. quote from HHS segemnt of budget, a majority of that cut is to personnel in HHS : The 2021 Budget requests $94.5 billion for HHS, a 10-percent decrease from the 2020 enacted level. The Budget proposes $1.6 trillion in net mandatory health savings, reducing longer-term deficits by eliminating wasteful spending while preserving beneficiaries access to care, enhancing competition, and prioritizing Federal resources for the most vulnerable.

glennlab replies on May 22, 2020:
@Lauren, @UrsiMajor recipe follows, I split and seed the medium sized fresh red jalapenos, in a large skillet heat oil to med high, fry the peppers until they start to blacken, remove from the oil, place between paper towels, let cool. Skrewer them with small skewers. prepare your favorite chocolate candy once it is to the hard ball stage, dip the peppers in the chocolate place on parchment paper and let cool. Frying does 2 things, it removes most of the capsasin from the peppers, it makes them closer to uniform in hotness. You can save the oil as seasoning oil where you want heat, but not the flavors of either vinegar or peppers. some people remove the skin after it has been blackened since it makes it easier for the chocolate to stick to the peppers. Its also a good idea to wear gloves or vigorously wash you hands after each stage of the process. They are a little crunchy and I use dark chocolate.

@WonderWartHog99 My definition of cutting is anything that reduces the earned benefit from what it would have been without that action Taxing it reduces it, increasing the age reduces the amount of earned benefit that you will recieve over your lifetime, cutting under Trump is read his fucking budgets he not only proposes cutting payout to retireees through a chainec CPI, he proposes cutting the budget of the SSA. You are argueing in circles, please chose one side and argue that, you have gone from touch it and you die to no president said eliminate it. Can we just agree that this is a non starter, but it is where the Republican party has been headed since Nixon.

@Lorajay My ex was the same, when we first moved into this house, there was a healthy crop of the vine. After the first time of her catching it that way, after a session of removal, I'd come in strip in front of the washer, then take a long shower. We'd add a little degreaser to the load to make sure that the oils went down the drain and didn't just get redeposited on the clothes. I'm the only one of my siblings that has immunity to it and used that to my advantage growing up. My brother only chased me into it once.

@MissKathleen That should make a beautiful cascade, they are good climbers. I would stick to the name brand seeds on this one. Soak the seeds overnight prior to planting. to soften the seed coat. They can handle quite a bit of heat, but not too sure how hot, it only gets to 100+ here and you are a lot hotter and drier. It way even make a great fall plant.
