@Remiforce . Top pay at Medicare is less than $400,000 per year, top pay at United health is $100 million. @MsDemeanour It was common in every US war for the children of the wealthy and politically connected to recieve preferencial treatment by their draft boads, doctors, ministers, colleges or jobs. Trump gort a doctor to lie for him. the abuses of the system were so agregious that Nixon finally ended all deferments, beginning in 1973, as well as requiring that a military doctor had to grant the medical classification, no longer allowing cheaters to simply hire their way out of the draft. A lottery system was also implemented earlier so that all persons classified as 1-A were pooled nationwide and individual draft boards no longer could grant favorite son deferments.

I have passion vine along the side fence and around the house, so I disappear into the vines in the summer. glennlab replies on Oct 13, 2019:
Tableing allows a person to vote against an item without actually having to go on record as having voted against it. Items that have been tabled and not brought out die at the end of the session and must be reintroduced as a new motion, with no legislative history. It also allows you to avoid continued debate which might be more divisive.

glennlab replies on Oct 13, 2019:
@WonderWartHog99 I've had spectacular success, running water and fish poop are the main ingredients. With running water being the most important. I use it primarily to filter the water and begin harvesting from about 30 days after my first start. i take the bunch from the supermarket, trim about half an inch off the stem some I will put in the "waterfall" routing and some I will put in holes in floating pices of styrofoam insulation sheets with holes spaced 1*1 on a foot square piece both work well, but the waterfall works best.

@WonderWartHog99 I grow it in my fish pond filter area, and have for years, summer here makes it way too hot to eat, so I use different plants then. I grew up in a town that was so small that it maintained the same population since the 1930s, everytime a girl got pregnant a guy left town. When I go back to visit family, I remember why it was that I left, there are 3000 people in town and I can still tell what family the kids belong to.

They are cheaper than bug bombs and healthier for me.

@MikeInBatonRouge Composting will add as much to your soil as anything. Heavy mulching will also contribute to soil health. Add new mulch every year and just mix last years into the soil. Squash vine borer.
glennlab comments on Oct 8, 2019:
I have found that if I start my squash very early indoors, then transplant, I am able to harvest quite a bit before the borers destroy the plants. then when I find the grubs, I will split open the vine and remove it. It is labor intensive, but I seem to be slowly gaining ground.
glennlab replies on Oct 8, 2019:
@CrazyQuilter I have a similar problem, think in terms of winter gardening for things that are spring crops elsewhere. My tomatoes and eggplants are setting fruit right now that will most likely be harvested before first frost. Beans are a early spring crop, peas are a winter crop, forget all that you knew about seasons and instead look at growing times before heat and drought wipe out the plants.
