@BufftonBeotch I was kind of nerdy that way. I read pretty much anything in print that I could finish in one sitting. The pics in penthouse were shot through vaseline so even though they were printed in high resolution, they were fuzzy. The stories were first rate.

I love them, my tree is about 90 years old, but it is near the powerlines, so it gets the radical trimming treatment from the power company. They are such beautiful trees.

If you take it in, I would suggest the piece like the first picture, many weeds look alike on the surface but the crap under the ground is what tells you for sure what you are dealing with.

@Heidi68 Not if you want good fruit, trees naturally set more fruit than they can support and will abort some, but the primary reason is to spread seeds, so by eliminating the less desirable fruit, the tree puts more energy into making it attractive for someone to eat and spread its seed.

The caves were from about a quarter mile away with a 500 foot elevation difference, I wasn't going to hike that steep a trail with the shoes I was wearing.

I cut out several stops I was going to make,I missed my turn for the Salton sea, so I stayed on 10 instead of dropping to 8 and stopping in Yuma. I just tried to jam too much in too short a time. Except for the days in Las Vegas, nothing was the schedule I had planned. Maybe time after next I'm going to try for 3 more long trips this year.

Good Lord. This group represents Nothing as its name suggests. Yikes.

@Heidi68 I was thinking that as I typed the response, I remember looking at loops of negatives when I was at the newspaper, and you still had to print out several "good ones" before you could finally get the one you liked. At least there, they weren't my pictures, so my investment was what was going to look good on the page.
