This is befuddling but here is an attenuated version of my life. Raised as a military brat. Born in Tacoma, WA. Lived various places in my youth. Four years in the USMC (1967 to 1970). College at Old Dominion University, Virginia, no degree. Moved to California in 1976 with my 'ex'. Apprenticed as an electrician and that has been my trade for the last forty years. Blue collar and proud of it. Lived in Oakland for over thirty years and this is my town now. I identify as a bicyclist, artsy-fartsy political liberal (not a Progressive but a fucking old school 1960s Liberal). Opinionated but willing to change if you have an argument that convinces me to change. Unfortunately, you have to have a pretty good argument because I have spent literally years convincing myself that I am right well over 94% of the time. I'll add more if there is anything more that occurs to me. Also, I hate misused apostrophes.
