I was raised heathen. That is to say religion wasn’t really discussed when I was growing up. I suppose when I was a child I kind of believed in Christianity from mere cultural osmosis, but I dispelled that by age 10 or so.

I’m on here to have some interesting discussions, waste some time and perhaps meet some nice ladies to spend some time with.

I’m a self taught computer programmer. I’ve been doing that professionally for almost 20 years. It’s a hobby as well. I hope to eventually share links to some artwork I’ve done. It’s just a bunch of perverse geometries in motion set to chill wave tunes.

Speaking of music, I like a lot of things, but electronic stuff reall does it for me.

I like Sushi, Indian food and good old fashioned hamburgers.

The First Green Terawatt Was the Hardest
indirect76 comments on Mar 13, 2019:
So, one terawatt over the entire year? For comparison, the world consumed 21.2 terawatt hours in 2015. There are 8760 hours in a year, so I think that makes it a total of 185,712 Tera watts total? Someone smarter than me please chime in if this is incorrect.

It’s funny that the borders hardly line up across state borders, which is to be expected. Though there is one across the Ohio river separating Kentucky and it’s a major separator between the Midwest & the south. At least where I am (the tipity top of KY) it’s much more of a midwestern kind of vibe. I’ve also lived in Lexington, which is almost center of the state. It’s a touch more southerny in culture, but I still think it’s more midwestern. Well, these things are fairly intangible after all.
What species is a human mother's fetus?
indirect76 comments on Mar 13, 2019:
LOL here I am thinking this question was geared towards the topic of evolution. Reading the comments, apparently not. Yes, a human mother's fetus is human. My opinion is that women should be able to abort the human fetus. I completely understand why others may have a different opinion on this.

So looking at this again, I’m curious what these scores even are. Without knowing a maximum score (I’ll assume zero is the minimum) the numbers are somewhat meaningless and arbitrary. The green, yellow and red categories also lose some meaning. The higher the maximum score, the smaller the differences become. Now this may be all out of whack. After all, I’m from one of the yellow countries, so...
