What they do with their money is a moral decision that they alone get to decide. It’s funny that the borders hardly line up across state borders, which is to be expected. Though there is one across the Ohio river separating Kentucky and it’s a major separator between the Midwest & the south. At least where I am (the tipity top of KY) it’s much more of a midwestern kind of vibe. I’ve also lived in Lexington, which is almost center of the state. It’s a touch more southerny in culture, but I still think it’s more midwestern. Well, these things are fairly intangible after all.
