Man, 58, Ryde, UK
Baptised and confirmed as a Catholic . Had doubts about all of it as early as primary school, couldn't square the circle then, can't now, so don't even try.
I suppose the absolute clincher, not that there was any doubt, was 9/11.
Found Christopher Hitchens a couple of years ago and he articulated, far better than I could, exactly what I thought.
I love intellectual discourse on atheism but not silly semantics and points scoring. Essentially each to their own just don't try and impose your beliefs on me or on the unsuspecting or vulnerable.
I'm not particularly bothered about the dating aspect nothing I write will mean or alter anything, it will come down to what I look like, a little shallow perhaps but from experience that's all that counts. I may make some friends alone the way but as for a romantic involvement, highly unlikely, I'd like to be proved wrong but that is also highly unlikely (I may have to re-assess this bit )
A brief idea of what makes me...me, my two daughters ( 15 & 12, I started late) music of most kinds but the default is rock in all its forms, sci-fi, astronomy, the ancients, bit of art and craft with some sketching and woodwork, that's about it really.
I could write a massive bio but is anybody really interested, if you are then please ask
Other than that I'm friendly and chatty, unless you're a twat, so if you fancy a chin wag, from anywhere in the world, give me a shout
PS I am a rabid Minnesota Vikings fan, although in the UK, and if you are a Vikings fan I share your pain (Every f---ing season!)
