Taken in 2015 just before all my hair was shaved off for charity. The girls at work thought it would be a terrific hoot to have me with pink hair, I thought it may as well be a mohawk if we're going all in :-)

If you were raised religious, how much did you dread prayer?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 18, 2018:
I never understood the point of prayers, even at a very young it was clear there was no one listening or if they heard they didn't do much. At 4 or 5 the demands are pretty petty so could have been accomodated by an all singing all dancing super being.....but they weren't because it's all bollocks. I hated church as well, what a lot of balls aching hypocrisy, I could see it straight away i just had to wait a few years until I had a word for it.
Do you judge people base on how they look, talk, act, and how much money they make? If so why
ipdg77 comments on Mar 18, 2018:
I like to think I judge people on what they say and how they act. How they look and how much they make are not relevant, at least not to me.
Boundaries?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 18, 2018:
I think honesty would be the only one for me, be a refreshing change from previous relationships
Who are you?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 18, 2018:

Am I doing something wrong?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 18, 2018:
It's probably not you, we're all in the same boat and as this is a fairly new site, as far as I'm aware, it'll take time for the database to grow. Having said that a photo, rather than your face in one, would be good, a bit of a bio and respond to the answers people have made. Give them a like, agree or disagree, just raise your activity a smidge. And keep asking questions, people will always respond, they're a really diverse, interesting and friendly lot :-)
Who isn't on medications here?

How do you deal with mixed signals?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 18, 2018:
I'm so crap at all of this stuff the fact that signals are mixed just adds texture to what is already going on in my head lol

I'm a bit of an old (rocking) fart when it comes to music, I couldn't name anything from the last 12 months without looking it up and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like much if any, but if I find something before the/your season's over I'll let you know :-)
What's an example of UnIntelligent Design?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 17, 2018:

Wow I can't wait to be a level 10 atheist
ipdg77 comments on Mar 17, 2018:
I'll be dead, or probably out of ideas, long before I get to level 10. And if I'm wrong about there not being an after life I'll keep posting to let you lot know :-)

Why did your marriage fail?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 17, 2018:
I think because she was verbally and physically abusive, that's about the size of it.
I've never understood why people want to say God chose to this, that or the other.

Have you ever had a romantic "pet name?"
ipdg77 comments on Mar 17, 2018:
I think the closest my ex came to a romantic nickname was calling me a Lazy Bastard, compared to some of the other names it was really quite endearing!
Do you accept the possibility of a god, but reject man’s perspective of one?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 17, 2018:
If we just stick to the notion of the Abrahamic god I think there is, or should be, a massive disconnect between a prime mover to kick start what we understand as the universe and it being the same bloke wandering about 2,000 years ago in the bible. So man's perspective, the man of faith that is, is based solely on not understanding or ignorance and plonking the divine in the gap, so that doesn't work for me on any level. As for the prime mover....I see no evidence for this, my answer is 'I don't know' and nor does anybody else.
Have you ever had a moment where you stop and look around wondering how you got to where you are?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 17, 2018:
I do it quite a bit really, not from any regret, but just pondering life's broader aspects and reflecting, more for a bit of fun I suppose but it doesn't make me morose or anything lol
Should athiest really be saying 'rest in peace'
ipdg77 comments on Mar 17, 2018:
I think it's ok to say, it's more a mark of respect and closure (for me at any rate) For example, if a celebrity or music star I particularly admired has died I would post a Youtube link on my Facebook page with RIP Joe Bloggs.
Do you remember your 1st kiss?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 17, 2018:

What is your response to "god blees you" after sneezing?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 17, 2018:

Keeping it simple?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 17, 2018:
Sensible answer is that they were atheists, simple as that. Not so sensible is that there may be an after life, which may have surprised them, and they've met god and don't like him so are still atheists, there's no real way of knowing to use the present tense.

I am really glad coming and finding a site this so open and liberal and no one is spewing religion ...
ipdg77 comments on Mar 17, 2018:
Ewwwwww spewing in your face - yuck Puking down necks is ok though lol Welcome aboard :-)
What kind of post do you like to see most on this site?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 17, 2018:
Anything really, depends on the mood I'm in. I suppose I gravitate towards the silly ones if anything, but that's only because I don't really give a shit most of the time or take very much seriously, and the stuff I do just evolves around me and mine so not for here anyway. That was a long winded load of old nothing! :-)
Prediction. Mourinho to be fired. Wenger to be fired . Mourinho to replace Wenger for next season?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 17, 2018:
Mourinho is safe until his third year, which is next year I think, then as with all his other teams it unravels. As for old Arsy boy, I think he'll be moved up stairs and someone pliable will move in so that all the people that want him gone won't be happy and all the people that want him to stay, currently that's a little old lady in Droitwich, won't be happy either lol
What are the chances
ipdg77 comments on Mar 17, 2018:

ipdg77 comments on Mar 16, 2018:

Or not...
ipdg77 comments on Mar 16, 2018:
I think hell will freeze over before we do lol Couldn't resist the oxymoron :-)
When did you realize you were old?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 16, 2018:
I'll add something to an earlier answer. I resist the idea that I'm getting old but it is getting increasingly difficult when my 11 year old groups dinosaurs, the stone age and me and being around at the same time.......Love you :-)
A follow up: What makes you a terrible partner?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 16, 2018:
My future ex wife told me I was, now let me get this right, a 'Smelly, fat, lazy slob who didn't do anything' I'm not going to dignify it with a response or explanation just thought I'd answer the question as posed :-)
Dating parameters
ipdg77 comments on Mar 16, 2018:
I have identified a simple truth about myself. I am absolute shite at spotting who fancies me, who's flirting or who's just being nice. So unless the other person can help by making it very very obvious, I'm pretty much scuppered :-)
When did you realize you were old?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 16, 2018:

Is it harder for women to get a date or for men?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 16, 2018:
This is a really good question. I've been on a few dating sites and managed a couple of dates and one led to a six month fling that was most enjoyable but most women, not on here I hasten to add, have a list of prerequisites as long as your arm that nobody can possibly meet....unless you're good looking and over a certain height! I'm also not entirely sure if I'm available or not. And I don't mean I'm daft or shacked up with someone but I like to think I'm open to having a relationship but am I, I don't ask, I don't look, I like my privacy and my marriage ended after getting a good kick in (both metophorically and actually) so maybe I'm not as available as I think, I may just give off a vibe....I don;t honestly know. I'm also assuming that women generally don't think I look like a gargoyle but then one can and does fancy the oddest people so who knows lol :-)

ipdg77 comments on Mar 16, 2018:
I work for my local council in the UK. I work with adults with learning and/or physically disabilities, autism, mental health concerns etc in employment support, so trying to find them work, keep them in work or to access work related activties. The job also includes accessing appropriate benefits for them as earning a living wage can be very difficult.

How do you convince someone with anxiety and depression to accept your help?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 13, 2018:
This may sound glib but all you can do is be there for her which I can see that you are. The need to change and/or accept help has to come from her. As my dear old mum used to say, let your kids make their own mistakes but let them know when and if they need to run, they can run home.
Are you buying or selling all the moves by the Cleveland Browns lately?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 13, 2018:
They're being very aggressive and they can't do worse than last year lol I think they take Barkley with the first pick, then maybe QB with the 4th, which ever is still there. I've been more concerned with the Viking's QB situation, huge developments unfolding all day inc Bridgewater to the Jets! Go figure that one.

Easter
ipdg77 comments on Mar 13, 2018:
No. Work is closed on Good Friday as it's a sort of bank holiday in the UK, and Easter Sunday is just another Sunday but there'll be some chocolate, which as far as I'm aware while tasting divine isn't actually divine in origin, but that's about it :-)
How would you explain Easter without referreing it to as the ressurection of Christ?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 13, 2018:
I was baptised and brought up a Catholic and did all the chruch stuff growong up but if you teach your daughter how to think and help her develop her critical thinking as she gets older she'll probably come to the same conclusion you have. Being a Catholic didn't do me any harm, if anything it gave me an insight that I wouldn't have otherwise had.
How to 'come out?'
ipdg77 comments on Mar 13, 2018:
There doesn't have to be a big drum roll and a ta-da! moment. Just let it ride and if your mum is a devout something or other and asks you about your faith (or apparent lack of it) just say you have questions that you're trying/struggling to find the answers to. It doesn't have to be a confrontational moment, it can be a gradual process.
Ok what do I say/?
ipdg77 comments on Mar 13, 2018:
I could write a dissertation to answer this but I shall deal with just one. Mentally ill is not appropriate for someone with autism. It is a condition, hence autistic spectrum condition, that involves the wiring in the brain which can lead to perceptual differences to that of neuro typicals (Normal people) The best way to address someone with autism is to ask their name, then just give them a bit of latitude with how they respond, assuming they do.
