I am 62, and retired a month ago. I'm an Eagle Scout (1973), a Marine (1974-1979), and a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Mali, West Africa 1993-1995). I've been to all 50 American states, 56 other countries, and 6 out of earth's 7 continents. I've yet to set foot in South America, and plan to do so soon. I've even hitchhiked in 13 other countries. And, I've worked for years on remote sites in both Alaska and Antarctica, including wintering-over at the South Pole Station in 1999. I'm tired of adventuring alone. I need a partner that's up for just about anything, travel-wise.
