Shared outlooks and values matter most as we go into the future but shared activities and interests are a place to start. Well "aged" and mellowed former very athletic woman. I exercise and do yoga.

I’ve raced SAILBOATS as skipper or crew. I can ride horses, casually cycle and ski. Golf skill poor so gave it up but if you are patient I can try again. Favorite spectator sport is watching my athletic grandchildren. On occasion I do watch a major sporting event. I actually had a few Pro baseball players as clients.

Occasional whirlwinds of activity may be followed by flights of creativity, reading, or relaxing as I listen to music. Even doing nothing but experiencing the silent companionship of a partner can be a joy.

Constantly searching for good literature & regularly watch Netflix films--including documentaries, foreign & independent.

My heart warms to nature's peace but my head thrills to culture of cities. Outdoor adventures and other athletic endeavors are having to make room for my current passion for the ARTS --live theatre and music, museums, galleries, symphony and dance, --- activities that can be enjoyed into my 90's. I have even joined a creative writing group. I am not great and has been more therapeutic than literary.

I love the saying: Art is how we measure space and music is how we decorate time. My inner creativity is reflected in my surroundings. Each art piece speaks to me, triggers memories, stimulates thought, amuses, perplexes, or relaxes. My art is not an investment it is my joy.

As a quick change artist myself, I go from my lush landscape garden dressed in bib overalls to 'dressed to kill' for a night out in 30 minutes. Two versions of me must have been unrecognizable! Initially my new neighbors thought 2 different women lived in my house. Haha

My metaphor for life is my landscape -- a creative canvas to express planting whims, drown frustrations on water lovers, root out problems and dig deep to prepare fertile ground for growth. To continue the landscape metaphor-- are we compatible for an 'arrangement' (FRIENDS who compliment each other and enjoy activities together) or 'permanent rooting' side by side for LTR?

Let's laugh with gusto, sigh in acceptance, or ponder deeply over the absurdities that life throws our way. My outward gregarious personality, intellect, and wit complement my basic inner quiet compassionate side. My eyes light up and my heart warms when I know I have made someone happy.

A touch or hug which conveys more than words will be part of everyday life with my partner...not just reserved for romantic moments. I'll gladly give you a massage, listen to your off the cuff ramblings or deep inner thoughts, entertain you with verbal banter, accompany you through the ups and downs, or provide the space you need for outside friends and alone time.

Dancing to 'oldies' is fun occasionally, but daily music tastes are quite eclectic-- from
classical, blues, jazz, to Arvo Part, Maura O'Connell and some opera. I love the local STL 442's group. I like exploring music as long as it is top quality within its genre -- why settle for less?

Daughter and precious grandchildren are in STL. Unmarried son is in Manhattan. Longevity is in my genes. Grandparents lived into their mid 90's.

Let the adventure begin if we might be a 'Good Enough' match to start as friends. Instant chemistry, like youthful lust, is often a quick flicker of passing flame. Underlying embers of mature passion may take time to develop but last longer.
