I enjoy my life as much as possible. Far as I know, it's all I've got! I love working in the bar industry and confidently count myself as a lifer.
I stay active, work probably too much, and love to unwind at night with a cig and a shot.
I prefer to live my worldview than proselytize it, though I do enjoy a pleasurable measure of discourse about a range of topics. I respect other's views, though I am an atheist/agnostic.

Can't hurt to hope to meet someone in the same city expressing similar interests.
I recently started listening to A Thinking Atheist podcast. Hes a bit preachy for my liking, but I enjoy the topics. Today I listened to an episode on how atheists choose to raise their children. If you were to have children (or if you already have had), how do you plan to raise them in terms of religion- or lack thereof?

I would work to shut down my impulse to ejaculate a response to their own profound insights, whether it be through religion, dating, or walkin' the damn dog. One of these decades (hopefully I live them), I'll have to face the responsibility of childcare and all that follows. I want my kiddos to be happy with themselves, and, if need be, burning with conviction. I probably won't be able to resist slapping on a veneer of condescension if they decide to join a rolling van communal garden; dude, they're having their adventure! I don't wanna fuck that up.
What's the song you remember most from the year you graduated high school and what year was it? Mine was 1978, and it was mine and my ex-husband's song. I get teary eyed when I hear it. I don't miss that man at all, but it's heartbreaking to see someone you love work so hard to go down the drain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1qxJPzjObI

Honestly, I think of Hank Williams. My first girlfriend was suuuper country. Ironically also a nihilist.
Let's pretend we're wrong and a supernatural diety shows up on earth! What three questions would you ask this being?
mattematic comments:
1- Do you have genitalia? 2- Why or why not? 3- Would it be alright if I just died and then lights out? That would be greeeeaat. Yeah.

It really depends on how involved you feel compelled to be to help her. I'll say, loved one or not, anyone who doesn't want to stop their vice of choice probably won't listen to outside suggestion. There's stuff like Alanon for those dealing with their loved one's addictions. It hurts to see it, but your best bet is to gently suggest a better way while going about your business. That, or extricating yourself entirely from the situation.

Jesus walks into a hotel late one night. He hands the manager three nails and says "can you put me up for the night?"
