What is your current guess for how long before we are rid of tRump?
mcgeo52 comments on Sep 6, 2018:
We are looking at a number of factors. Two key people to watch are Pence and Ryan. If you see both of them resign or be removed from office, expect tRump to resign very shortly thereafter. Don't be shocked if it happens before the end of the year. The reason they will be gone is that Robert Mueller is too much a patriot to see two Presidents leave office in disgrace back to back. If it is obvious that the Dems will control the House as of January, it doesn't make sense for the Republicans to try to hold onto tRump. If there is even a hint that Mueller will have enough hard evidence that the Senate will have to convict, he will also have enough on Pence that Pence will resign. With Pence and tRump gone, the Speaker of the House would become President. With the Dems in control of the House odds are that the Speaker would not be a Republican (although I have a scenario where that actually makes sense). In the situation described above, the only way the Republicans can guarantee that they will hold the White House until 2020 is to replace tRump and Pence before January. It's really fairly simple political calculus. Besides, by that point the Republicans should realize just how toxic trump is for their party.
History will remember.

Sorry to hear you are going through this. We went through it with my father about ten years after losing my mother very unexpectedly. I notice you end by commenting on your stress and your fear of losing her. Fearing that loss is not serving you well. The loss is coming. Fear won't stop it. Fear will only stop you from relaxing and celebrating the time you have left with her. Throw a party to let her know how much you, your family, and her friends love and appreciate her. She won't get to hear it at her funeral. Find out if there is anything on her bucket list that would be practical to; if so, do it. Get the most out of the time you have left with her. You can't do that while being afraid. The loss is coming, but it's not here yet.

mcgeo52 comments on Sep 3, 2018:
What would make me happiest? • tRump resigns in disgrace and required to make a full confession on television. • All of his assets are seized. • He, Jr., Ivanka, and Eric are sent to prison. • tRump is replaced by a female President; she chooses a black Vice President. • The next President , based on solid evidence, declares the 2016 election a fraud. • Given that nothing based on a fraud has any legal standing, this nullifies everything that tRump did, all of his Executive Orders, all of his appointments, and everything his appointees did; it also nullifies all of his judicial appointments. • The new President establishes a task force to implement and oversee the nullification. • Barack Obama is appointed to head the task force. • tRump gets CNN 24/7 in his cell and gets to watch Obama systematically undo everything that tRump did. • When the task force is finished, tRump is hung for treason, but only after watching his children being hung first. Could I really handle that much happiness? I'm willing to find out.
