Left religion about 6 years ago. I took a close look at the early history and "scripture" of the Mormon religion. It is clearly NOT what it claims to be. The Book of Abraham is without-a-doubt a fraud.
My family (sisters) don't want to be around me because I told them some of the reasons I no longer believe. I think I'm past the anger stage. My main issue with religion now is that they don't pay property tax. Property tax pays for services (police, fire, & local government) and therefore should be paid by all church property. When they don't pay, in forces the rest of us to (basically) subsidize the religion.
