Christians always get hung up on looking for a beginning. Actually energy and matter are all the same..E=MC2 If one can believe a god always existed isn't it much more simple to believe that energy and matter always existed?

"God is Love" 1John 4:8 But Bible God endorses slavery, polygamy, genocide, and the murder of Heretics and Homosexuals. Bible God treats women as 2nd class citizens, and he is prejudiced against the handicapped. God intends to burn Billions in Hell for all eternity. This is not love.

Evangelical: How can you "prove" that God doesn't exist? Ben: Two words... "Donald Trump."
nicknotes comments on Nov 23, 2018:
Atheism is true and correct because Bible God does not exist. "God is love" is contradicted by the above mentioned unloving actions. Therefore God does not exist and Atheism is true and correct

So some of you know that my wife and I are renting our house out to a tenant with 3 kids.
nicknotes comments on Nov 16, 2018:
I've owned rental property in the past.....and NEVER again. It is a losing bargain. In my experience those who don't pay the rent will cause the most damage to your property. It is hard to get rid of deadbeats. I've had some great tenants who pay the rent on time and actually improve the property at their own expense but when you get a deadbeat who ruins everything it will be a horrific experience.

nicknotes comments on Nov 15, 2018:
I've been to Hawaii twice and was a little disappointed. IMO the beaches in Florida are better. There is too much volcanic rock on Hawaiian beaches. The islands are small and it seems very confining. If I lived there it would seem that after one year I would have seen everything. Hawaii is a lot of hype.

nicknotes comments on Nov 14, 2018:
From the Catholic Encyclopedia... http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/01191a.htm The African bishops willingly allowed corrections to be made in a copy of the Sacred Scriptures, or even a reference, when necessary, to the Greek text. With some exceptions, it was the Septuagint text that prevailed, for the Old Testament, until the fourth century. In the case of the New, the manuscripts were of the western type. (See Bible, Canon.) On this basis there arose a variety of translations and interpretations. This well-established fact as to the existence of a number of versions of the Bible in Africa does not imply, however, that there was no one version more widely used and more generally received than the rest, i.e. the version which is found nearly complete in the works of St. Cyprian. Yet even this version was not without rivals. Apart from the discrepancies to be found in two quotations of the same text in the works of two different authors, and sometimes of the same author, we now know that of several books of Scripture there were versions wholly independent of each other. No fewer than three different versions of Daniel are to be found in use in Africa during the third century; in the middle of the fourth, the Donatist Tychonius uses and collates two versions of the Apocalypse. The Bible we can read has been corrupted from long ago
