I see Donald Trump has called for the G7 countries to re-admit Russia to the group, so that it again...
nicknotes comments on Jun 9, 2018:
Yes ...Trump seems to have Russian interests at heart. I wonder if they are blackmailing him? I suspect that after the Putin/Trump summit, Trump will agree to remove all the sanctions on Russia. Here is something I wrote a while back on sanctions.... Russia invaded Crimea and Eastern Ukraine so President Obama levied the sanctions. Exxon-Mobile and Russia wanted the big deal to drill for the 7 Trillion dollars in oil in the Arctic region of Russia's north shore. With global warming the Arctic ice has been melting and now this area was now going to be open water to drill. The Russians needed Exxon Mobile because they had the equipment and technical knowledge to drill in Arctic regions. Also the Oil Tankers to transport the oil. With the sanctions, this deal was no longer possible. The Russians knew if Hillary were President they would have problems. But I think the Russians had a relationship with Trump from his hooker episodes when he was running the Beauty Contest in Moscow. I think they "owned" Trump because they loaned him money for Real Estate when American Banks wouldn't touch him because of his Atlantic City Casino bankruptcies. So the Russians colluded with Trump to make him President so he could remove the sanctions. They were successful in getting Trump elected. Trump made Tillerson CEO of Exxon Mobile, Secretary of State to cement the deal once the sanctions were removed. Manafort, Page, and Flynn.... even Kushner and Sessions were all enlisted to work the deal for Trump to remove the sanctions so Exxon Mobile ,Russia, and Trump could make huge money on the oil. As an added "benny" Trump worked against the EPA, the Paris Accord, auto efficiency standards, so renewables would not undermine the market for carbon fuels. This is all theory that was suggested by comments from Cable news.

nicknotes comments on Jun 9, 2018:
An overwhelming number of people make life decisions based on emotion....on how they feel...rather than on facts, evidence, and logic. IMO religion brainwashes people to accept life decisions on emotion......accept it on faith.... We are headed for disaster unless people start using their brain and thinking, and evaluating evidence to make crucial decisions.

Do you see it as child abuse forcing kids to go to Church when they are clearly sick?
nicknotes comments on Jun 4, 2018:
Boredom is terrible. Church is the epitome of boredom. Everybody agrees privately that it is boring but the faithful go to church to get their "ticket punched" They believe if they get enough ticket punches they will go to Heaven when they die. Of course if Heaven were real it would be living a boring existence for all eternity.... Yes...bringing up children in this boring atmosphere is child abuse.

Genesis Adam finally dies -- 930 years after eating from the tree of knowledge, contrary to God's ...
nicknotes comments on Jun 4, 2018:
By blocking access to the tree of life, with the “cherubim and the flaming sword,” God denied Adam and Eve access to the life giving fruit so that Adam and Eve slowly began to die until they died hundreds of years later. It was like being in a room with the oxygen slowly being depleted until death ensues. Eating the “Apple” didn’t cause Adam and Eve to die. Their death was caused by God denying them the fruit of the tree of life, which was essential to their health and ability to continue to stay alive. Adam disobeyed God. He ate the “Apple.” But was Adam to blame? God said…””for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die."“ But Adam saw that Eve had eaten the “Apple” and she did not die. Adam could only believe that there was a miscommunication with God and the ’Apple” was safe to eat since Eve did not die as Adam thought God had said would happen. Adam could see that the“”tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise,””, so he ate the “Apple”. Who could blame Adam? He was given faulty information by God.

Social Exchange Theory. Do you think most people are like this?
nicknotes comments on Jun 4, 2018:
Social exchange theory proposes that social behavior is the result of an exchange process. The purpose of this exchange is to maximize benefits and minimize costs. According to this theory, developed by sociologist George Homans, people weigh the potential benefits and risks of social relationships. When the risks outweigh the rewards, people will terminate or abandon that relationship. Yes...it has relevance IMO
