Although the ancients did not have the power equipment that we have, I think they were very clever and discovered ways to move giant stones. But even today difficult tasks can be accomplished using the strength of many people. Back in the 60s I saw photos of a dam being built in China without any earth moving machines. They were using thousands of people with shovels and baskets to move earth, and mix and place concrete.

They caught him robbing the apartment. He was white. They said I could be called to court to testify but they never called me.

Jesus and Justice:
nicknotes comments on May 3, 2018:
From Acts chapter 4 32 And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them. 34 For there was not a needy person among them, for all who were owners of land or houses would sell them and bring the proceeds of the sales 35 and lay them at the apostles’ feet, and they would be distributed to each as any had need. Acts gives us a glimpse of the activities of the early church right after the death of Jesus. Do you know of any church that resembles this early church? I don't!!!! In fact, the Right Wing Christians should realize that the early church was more like a communist commune. And Right Wing Christians hate socialists and communists and are greedy bastards who don't care about the poor.

If a God had written a book I would expect it to be perfect, and a God would have protected the text to insure that it remained perfect and unedited. The Bible is not perfect, and there is evidence the text has been corrupted therefore a God did not write the Bible.

Trump Authorizes Nazi Chemicals
nicknotes comments on May 1, 2018:
Chlorpyrifos (CPS), sold under many brandnames, is an organophosphate pesticide used to kill a number of pests including insects and worms.[6] It is used on crops, animals, and buildings.[6] It was introduced in 1965 by Dow Chemical Company. It acts on the nervous system of insects by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase.** Chlorpyrifos ingestion, mostly due to suicide, results in more than 10,000 human deaths a year.[6] ** Chlorpyrifos is considered moderately hazardous to humans by the World Health Organization.[7] Exposure surpassing recommended levels has been linked to neurological effects, persistent developmental disorders and autoimmune disorders. Exposure during pregnancy may harm the mental development of children, and most home use was banned in 2001 in the U.S.[8] In agriculture, it is "one of the most widely used organophosphate insecticides" in the United States, and before being phased out for residential use was one of the most used residential insecticides.[9] On March 29, 2017, EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt denied a petition to ban chlorpyrifos.[10]

From what I see ....there never was a credible plan to replace the Affordable Health Care plan. Some of my ideas for health care... Affordable Health Care 1) Doctors pay over one hundred thousand in mal-practice premiums each year. Cap awards for mal-practice Tighten standards of evidence to prove mal-practice Try mal-practice cases before a 3 medical professional panel which can levy fines, make reasonable awards, and suspend licenses. Force doctors to lower fees since they are saving on insurance. 2) THE AMA limits the number of new doctors educated in USA. Stop this practice. More doctors will result in lower medical fees. 3) Lower the time limit on new drug protection for big pharma. Generics sooner will mean drug savings. 4) Doctors are locked into protocols to treat each disease. Allow more innovation of new techniques. Stop unnecessary tests mandated by a protocol. 5) Provide financial incentives for those that don't smoke, maintain healthy weight, don't use illegal drugs, and have normal blood pressure.

I never took note of the moon except when I was in Viet Nam. While in Nam I watched the moon every night. There is very little ambient light in Nam so the moon is the only light at night. Soon as I came home I stopped watching the moon.

nicknotes comments on Apr 29, 2018:
I am positive that there is no credible evidence for the existence of any supernatural being or supernatural event. Wishful thinking often leads to a miracle. I witnessed the proclaiming of a miracle. Several years ago, when I was a Christian, I attended a Bible Study at the home of one of the brothers of my church. It was late afternoon, and we were sitting in a circle in the living room. From my seat, I could see down a hallway from off the living room where there were bedroom doors in this hallway. As the sun was going down I noticed that the sun was shinning from a bedroom window on to the wall in the hallway. As a truck or large vehicle rode by the house it would block the sun and the shadow would move across the wall of the hallway. As I was watching a shadow move down the hallway, the woman sitting next to me jumped up and screamed, “”I just saw an Angel in the hallway”” Another woman jumped up “” I saw it also”” Everyone at the Bible Study jumped up and crowded into the hallway searching for the Angel. By the time everyone was back in their seats, the sun was down, and it would have been useless to try and explain what had happened. They were all convinced that an Angel had visited our Bible Study. By Sunday Service, it was official, the Pastor announced “”An Angel has visited our Bible Study. Praise God!”” That's how you get a Christian Miracle.
I find this statement speaking volumes.
