It is an unusual experience to pull off the highway and grab a bite at Waffle house.

Why we might miss extraterrestrial life.
nicknotes comments on Apr 15, 2018:
If there are extra terrestrials I expect that they have a way to over-ride the laws of Physics. The closest star to our solar system is Alpha Centauri, 4.25 light years away. So aliens visiting earth would have a round trip of 8.5 years traveling at the speed of light.[Zero Mass] So I think such a trip would not be readily possible. Of course, it is possible that aliens are hidding in our solar system out of sight of our telescopes but that also seems improbable. IMO people like to believe friendly Aliens will come to earth and solve all their problems. But Aliens could come and eat us.

As a Prophet, what prophecies did Jesus ever make that have been fulfilled? Jesus was a charismatic orator....he said some great sayings.....but what did he ever do? IMO, all we have from Jesus are unfulfilled promises. We have nothing concrete that we can see. Did Jesus die for your sins? How can you tell if he did or not? How can you tell if you still have sins or not?

Here is something to which you might relate Miniver Cheevy, child of scorn, Grew lean while he assailed the seasons; He wept that he was ever born, And he had reasons. Miniver loved the days of old When swords were bright and steeds were prancing; The vision of a warrior bold Would set him dancing. Miniver sighed for what was not, And dreamed, and rested from his labors; He dreamed of Thebes and Camelot, And Priam’s neighbors. Miniver mourned the ripe renown That made so many a name so fragrant; He mourned Romance, now on the town, And Art, a vagrant. Miniver loved the Medici, Albeit he had never seen one; He would have sinned incessantly Could he have been one. Miniver cursed the commonplace And eyed a khaki suit with loathing; He missed the mediæval grace Of iron clothing. Miniver scorned the gold he sought, But sore annoyed was he without it; Miniver thought, and thought, and thought, And thought about it. Miniver Cheevy, born too late, Scratched his head and kept on thinking; Miniver coughed, and called it fate, And kept on drinking. n/a

God promised that the righteous would live on earth. “For evildoers will be cut off, But those who wait for the LORD, they will inherit the land. Yet a little while and the wicked man will be no more; And you will look carefully for his place, and he will not be there. But the humble will inherit the land, And will delight themselves in abundant prosperity.” Psalms 37:9,10,11 Examine the example of Abraham. 1. God promised Abraham and his descendants the land of Canaan as an everlasting possession. "And I will give to you and to your descendants after you, the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession: and I will be their God." Genesis 17:8 2. God even promised Abraham and his offspring that they would inherit the world. “For the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would be heir of the world was not through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.” Romans 4:13 3. Gentiles can receive the promises of Abraham through the seed, Jesus Christ. “in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might came to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:14 4. If you belong to Christ then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise. “And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise.” Galatians 3:29 5. Abraham is the father of the righteous. “For this reason it is by faith, that it might be in accordance with grace, in order that the promise may be certain to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all.” Romans 4:16 6. But, Abraham did not receive even a foot of ground. "And He gave him no inheritance in it, not even a foot of ground; and yet, even when he had no child, He promised that He would give it to him as a possession, and to his offspring after him.” Acts 7:5 7. So, if we trust God that his promise to Abraham is good, and since Abraham hasn't yet received his inheritance then it follows that Abraham and his righteous descendants (even righteous Gentiles) will inherit the earth at some future time. "Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.” Matthew 5:5 "And Thou hast made them to be...
