Man, 57, Palm Springs,
I started questioning the existence of a God when I was eight years old. When I turned thirteen, I refused to be forced to go to church and stoppedgoing. As I entered my teenage years, I wanted to learn about ancient history and nature and science. I spent a lot of time in the library, and I read a lot about different subjects. That was before the internet. I took several classes in a small community college in science and I learned about Darwin and Dr. Leakey. I took classes in chemistry, physics, mathematics, ancient cultures and history. None of them led to any kind of a degree but they expanded my knowledge and understanding. In my late thirties I went back to school and I attended a university where I got a degree in business and financeFull Bio
I have been in the military, and I have been a police officer and I have had several jobs ranging from cleaning houses to financial advisor. I am an open minded person who believes in treating everyone with respect. Even the one that we do not agree with. I believe that everyone has the right to their own belief. I don't believe that anyone has the right to force his or her belief onto me or anyone else. I don't believe in discriminating against any person or group of people because of color, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation. I am an atheist and I am a straight black man of Caribbean descent and I get along with everyone. I do have a low tolerance for stupidity. I simply walk away and avoid getting in an argument with people who cannot use critical thinking and logic. Alternative facts are not real. I enjoy stimulating intellectual conversations. I am a very sarcastic person. I love to laugh and to be around people who have a good sense of humor.
