I was baptized into the Catholic Church as a baby, but never remembered ever going to church. While I was barely in kindergarten, my mother was duped into becoming a Jehovah's Witness. I was raised as one. I never knew about my Catholic heritage. I eventually was baptized as a JW. However, unlike most Jdubs, I questioned many things and eventually rejected them, only to become a protestant born again. Then I explored Baptists, Episcopalians, Lutherans, Calvinism, and eventually rediscovered Catholicism. I took my first communion and confirmation. But I had problems with suffering and a favoristic god that would pick and choose. Also, even if there was an almighty, (which I no longer believe), I had no desire to worship such a monster.
