I'm a queer man edging toward gaining a Ph.D. in Theatre History. I'm rumored to be intelligent and fairly good company. I'm a bookworm, an avid cyclist, a writer, actor and film geek, and an environmentalist and animal-rights activist. I also love travel, and have lived abroad for a quarter of my life (London 10 years, Prague 5 years, Croatia 1 year, Rome 8 months). Originally from Portland, Oregon, which I miss daily.

I'm a walking film and theatre encyclopedia (I worked as a theatre and film critic in both Portland and Prague). My tastes are pretty wide-ranging, though I prefer work that's challenging.
