I have stated to all my relatives that if I am, basically 'brain dead', from whatever cause, pull the damn plug. I also think that euthanasia should be a basic human right. You can think whatever you like, which I already stated, but that post was racist. I called you on it. I wasn't "saving" anything except my own self-respect. You can try to dodge all you want & put it on me, but that doesn't change the fact that that post was just UGLY! Now, you can be as ugly as the post, or you can own up to it. It sorta seems as if you have already made your decision!

@Trajan61, @hrichardson8 Well, many food animals ARE a big source of pollution, & not just their methane. We have a perfect example of part of the problem being exhibited after Florence. Tons of pig shit gets picked up by the floodwaters & contaminates homes & the waters. Even without floods so often these retaining pools breach & cause serious problems. So, yeah, let's not regulate any of this, let the market "fix" it, that's the ticket! At least be honest about some of the drawbacks & try to find a sensible way forward, rather than expect no one to notice!

Pushing the envelope is one thing. Stereotypes & racism is entirely something else! "2 N*****s & a Stolen Van" is both, & just wrong on so many levels. You will not find a bigger advocate for free-speech or fighter against censorship on this site than I am, but this was just WRONG! Even if she was black, which I highly doubt, there was no license of excuse for this post, & her inability to own up to it speaks volumes! Even more disappointing was that two guys actually liked her post. I am not PC & I am not a snowflake, but hate is hate, & we should at least be better than that! & then to not have the courage to either stand & defend a position, or be an adult & admit a screw-up! I'm proud she blocked me!

I usually do the same. This battle had to be faced. The meme has popped up at least once before that I know of, & I called it out then. I did not, in either case, call out the poster. Just the post. I'm still good friends with the first person. This one had no strength of convictions or honesty!
