I tend to agree, somewhat. Blackface was still idiotic and wrong in the '80's, tho not as toxic as now, obviously, & certainly shows a lack of judgment, tho we are talking about college students for the most part, but context does have to come in play, & the idea of "zero tolerance", before that standard was imposed, strikes me as overkill. The governor still handled it ineptly, tho, & while that may not rise to the level of dismissal, does put his career into a different focus.
