Other sources in Omaha have said that Gardner was messing around with some Oregon pot growers... I don't know if justice was served or not, but he really wasn't a nice guy and I'm glad he is out of Omaha.

It sounded like he was bringing it up from Mexico for a while. He may have been caught; At one point he went to prison, and perhaps that's where he got the swastika tattoo. Probably he associated with the white supremacists in prison, helping to radicalize him. He was in the business of cannabis, so his spending time in Oregon and Northern California was possibly for that reason. Some parts of Oregon are rife with white nationalists; It's survivalist country. Although he doesn't deserve sympathy, I could speculate that he used weed to help deal with PTSD from his time in Iraq.

What could the Supreme Court, Election Commission, FBI or even CIA do? The FBI is under Barr, so it's not clear they could do anything without Barr stopping them.
Anyone who shows opposition can be fired. Or killed. Probably some elements of the real Deep State could stop Trump, but I think they're the ones who put him in there. The Deep State is fickle, and have their own agenda apart from Trump, Putin or even the U.S.
As it becomes clear that Trump is seeking to install himself as king, some elements of the military might revolt, but they would be entirely on their own, acting as a rogue entity without orders or chain-of-command. And they would be fighting militias, not only from Barr, but potentially secreted into the country by Putin to maintain control.
As I say, the GRU has been working non-stop to figure all the contingencies and prepare against them. I'd like to believe that the actual population would turn out against Trump and march against the White House. I'm afraid of what the GRU will do in that case. They might bomb the shit out of them in a callous display of force.

On the other hand, Trump has a preference for lying and dishonesty, so even if we had a genuine medical report, its reliability would be zero or less (that is, presumed to be false).
It should be standard practice to evaluate the probability that information is credible.

About 7 years ago, I got the annual flu vaccine. The actual flu was going around and people would be out for a couple of weeks. About two months after getting the vaccine, I did get the flu, and I felt quite wretched, but I believe my body successfully developed the secondary response and I felt better after two days. While I had frustration for getting sick, I was very glad I got the vaccine.

@Aristippus I have those tools on hand, but life changes have been too troubling to indulge. It was fun to see the shaman with the Ayahuasca stalk. I got a 12" cutting about 16 years ago. It grew up into a dying apricot tree, and when the tree finally died, the vine had a ready made trellis. Two years ago, the trunk finally toppled, so I designed a tensile structure prototype for the vine to grow up into again. @Aristippus I have those tools on hand, but life changes have been too troubling to indulge. It was fun to see the shaman with the Ayahuasca stalk. I got a 12" cutting about 16 years ago. It grew up into a dying apricot tree, and when the tree finally died, the vine had a ready made trellis. Two years ago, the trunk finally toppled, so I designed a tensile structure prototype for the vine to grow up into again. I'm training the tendrils now, but have put a sail over the structure for shade. You can see the Ayahuasca in the center left of the attached picture.

Actually, the cold is either a rhino virus 40% or Coronavirus 20%. An anti-viral agent is being developed that should be effective for ALL the rhinoviruses! A similar technique should be possible for the coronaviruses; just not that quickly, unfortunately. I've been led to understand that a vaccine for covid would confer longer lasting immunity. @Mofo1953 What Constitution? Where was the Constitution when all but one Republican Senator allowed the impeachment to be a whitewashing sham? This is the same Senate that release a detailed report on the Russian election interference, completely repudiating Trump's denials. These are people at the highest level of the government and they participated in the shredding of that Constitution. They are traitors, and that vote destroyed the US. Or whatever was left at that moment. It's clear that the GOP has no concern for the Constitution, or rule of law, or even historic norms where it stands in the way of them keeping power.

Trump takes the position that laws don't apply to him and uses his power (bully pulpit, lawyers, traitorous congressmen and appointees) to thwart enforcement of those laws. See how he has fired so many Inspector Generals or whistleblowers or even just those reporting his actions.

She was susceptible to alcoholism. I never knew how much she had drunk. I had to stay with her a couple of times to make sure she was coming out of it.
The times I referenced above, though, she seemed OK. She'd hide her drinking and her inebriation.
