I am a designer who works in a variety of materials and a glass artist.

I was baptized twice; first as an Anglican, then as a Catholic. I went to Sacred Heart Private School in the Bronx run at that time by the Missionary Zelatrices of the Sacred Heart. That was followed by a year at Xavier high school in Manhattan, a military prep school run by Jesuits. I was in Jr.ROTC, an NRA member and even had my own rifle that I earned by selling Christmas cards.

In the winter of 1966-67 I struggled with my beliefs and emerged in the spring as an agnostic. It is only recently that I've come out as an atheist.
