Let me begin by answering the first question that came into your mind when you looked at my photos: No, I don't dye my hair. What you see is what you get. Now, moving on...

I'm an urbane urbanite and a self-disciplined sybarite. I come from a large and loving extended family and am one of the saner guys you're likely to meet. Special bonus: I was raised with three sisters and will never leave the toilet seat up.

I live in an elegantly appointed Art and Crafts style home, filled with art, sunlight, and curiosities (not least, myself).

I've led a rather non-linear life: studied philosophy and psychology, traveled, owned and ran several small businesses in the US and Europe, and finally found my niche in a corner of the high-tech industry, working hands-on with clients around the globe - at last count I've been to 36 countries, racking up over two million air miles in the process, and lived in Europe for a couple of years. I had a good run with that; so good, in fact, that I was able to get out of the rat race years ago while maintaining a very comfortable lifestyle.

Music, art and theater have always been important to me. I'm on the board of a major Boston theater company. One of the best perks of working internationally was the opportunity to try everything from street food in Singapore to haute cuisine in Paris. I'm an enthusiastic omnivore, with a taste for hot and spicy foods and well-prepared offal. But please don't read "enthusiastic omnivore" as "rabid carnivore." I eat mostly vegetarian during the day (my variation on VB6).

One of the more interesting (to me, at least) aspects of my life these days is that I've become the unofficial mascot of the Berklee College of Music guitar department (long story, maybe I'll tell it to you sometime). Beyond that, I try to savor life in general - reading, biking, cooking (love to throw dinner parties for friends and family), gardening, getting out to shows and restaurants.

Meanwhile, I do my best to stay fit and trim, walking almost everywhere (one great advantage of being a city boy - I can easily go a week without taking my car out of the garage) and hitting the gym regularly.

I'm looking for a woman who shares my love of music, art, theater, and food (you don't need to cook, I've got that covered, but if you do, even better!) Major bonus points for living in the city and having a salty sense of humor.

Finally, I know we're not supposed to have types and to only see people's souls, but I'm not a big guy, and I have to admit that I am mostly attracted to women who are significantly smaller than myself.
