Joined because of becoming atheist. I came to the realization that because we all evolved we are a product of poor evolution and failing bodies. I became an atheist because of realizing if our physical sense evolved then the feeling like having a "soul" is just our spirit cell evolving. For instance, pain. You touch something hot is sends the signal of pain to the brain and causes your body to pull your hand away. It may cause you to cry or scream. Maybe you'll bend over. All different reactions in the body. Now, reverse that and magnify it. Your eyes see the world, your ears hear the world, you can touch the world and know its texture. You can smell the pleasantries of the world, and you can taste the world. All these things cause many reactions at once. Feeling is soul

All the senses coming together to create a perception of you in your mind. Your mind is made of brain tissue. The brain tissue is evolving organic matter. There is no soul. Only tissue.

          I was brought up catholic, went to a Christian school, have Muslim friends, believed in reincarnation, believed in heaven, believed in hell, believed in spirits. Basically I know a lot about faiths. Still I was lost and felt like none of it was real. Science, DNA, and genetics changed that for me. I felt like I woke up. It was like everything had changed. Every encounter was different. Not just the evolution of our planet but the physical evolution of people. Our hate, intolerance, and disregard for other people is the mind telling us that a culture, society, race, needs to be eliminated. We can see it happening all over the world. We can also see it happening on an individual level. When I look at someone, I look at them having evolved to have individual personalities and features. That's all it is. We are living together on a planet that evolved to meet our needs. We could try evolving to be more tolerant of eachother.

Said a little about me in my ramblings. Always trying to learn new things. I'm sticking to the things I love. One of the things I do is ballroom dancing. It allows me to feel happiness from the physical and mental actions of dance. I want to do things that make a difference. I work at an inner city school, and it taught me many things about people, interpersonal relationships, and culture. I hope I get to hear inspiring thoughts and ideas from like minded people.
