This is the traffic maneuver I saw today. I was in the outside lane, behind a pickup at the traffic light. There was a red car in the left turn lane and a white car in the inside lane. The left turn light turned green and the red car just sat there. So the driver in the white car flipped on their signal and took a left. A lot of people move here from countries where "traffic laws" are considered "suggestions."

To start with my job had a lot more people working there and there was a whole lot of bs that went on. I stayed out of it as much as possible and just did my job. So now, all them bitches are gone and I still have a job I like. It did help a lot that when I started a very old friend worked there too. I'm not sure I would have stayed as long as I have if I hadn't had an ally thru some of the bs that's happened. The best advice I can give is to step back and evaluate your whole situation. If you have to stick it out for a while try to stay out of as much drama as you can. If you don't have to stick it out, tell them to stick it!!

I'm not sure what you would call this but we discovered years and years ago my sister and I both "get" the answer when playing Trivial Pursuit and the person asking the question turns the card over and reads the answer before you've answered. I won a Trivial Pursuit tournament in a local bar because I "got" the answers from several people when they turned the card over and read the answer. It would just pop into my head. I know I know loads of random useless crap but the answers were to stuff I actually didn't know. Our family rule became "no reading the answer before the person has answered."

I haven't got my heat out yet. It was chilly in here this morning so I turned the oven on. I wouldn't be surprised if I don't have to get one of my space heaters out later this week though since it's going to be cloudy and I won't get any heating from the sun. I have huge windows and as long as the sun shines and the wind blows from the north, it's pretty comfortable in here during the day.

My boy car has been fixed temporarily. Bailing wire is a life saver

My girlfriend and I go to whatever they have downtown during the summer. They show movies at the park. They have food truck fridays and have games and stuff for kids. And of course there's a fair and rodeo every year. There's a week long beef festival. That has all kinds of events. The state fair is a 3.5 hour drive one way so I generally don't go.
