I'm quite the independent thinker. I find there is far too much group think (more like group non-think) among atheists and other people who consider themselves to be on the left of the political spectrum. There's rarely more real thinking among the left than there is on the right... just a different herd mentality. Also, the fact that atheists have yet to come up with any kind of healthy alternative world view to replace Christianity is the reason most people are not attracted to it. I have thought about this problem a bit, but my conclusions are not in the mainstream of liberalism, so...
