Funny giff about drug dog
tinkercreek comments on Feb 28, 2020:
Oh, my daughter's first year away at college, I over-night mailed her favorite Spiced Applesauce Cake, wrapped and boxed to the hilt. Several track searches, phone calls, campus security hold and an ambitious young customs agent later, we decided it would forever-on be called "Drug Dog Cake"!
My son had fallen off hid bike and hit his knee, elbow and ribs just minor scrapes nothing a band ...

One big difference from modern single women is that these "spinsters" were mostly under the age of 30 - oh, the shame of it!! 🤣🤣🤦‍♀️

I miss church.
tinkercreek comments on Feb 26, 2020:
A very quick google search turned up at least 4 UU churches in the Tuscon area. I have attended several in and near my Portland area, and they can have marked differences. Some look like churches, some like conference rooms, some have clergy, some are lay-led, some have strong music programs, some have one guy with a guitar, etc. After being away for a couple years I wandered into my old fav last weekend (big "church" with great music), and it was a dear experience. The thing about UU is that you know you are there with agnostics, xians, jews, muslim, atheist, anyone and everyone! Yes, some of the songs and verbiage mention diety and associated thoughts, but you are free to interpret and modify those references as you wish. It's kind of a get-over-yourself approach, and I like that. Maybe worth exploring?
I am not sure people even read the profiles on dating sites.

In my household, I do most of the cooking.
tinkercreek comments on Feb 24, 2020:
It's always been me! My mom cooked meat, but everything else was from a box or can. As soon as I was out on my own, I began to experiment and read cookbooks, took a class or two, and found how much fun it was to cook great food with good ingredients. It's always been a relaxing art for me and still is, on occasion.
I had a bit of a wakeup call the other week.
tinkercreek comments on Feb 24, 2020:

tinkercreek comments on Jan 29, 2020:
www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/sacrilege Sacrilegious is often used in reference to religion, or to religious things, so it is easy to see why people might be confused by its spelling. However, sacrilegious and religious are not from the same roots.
Being a "non believer" does that cause cynical sarcasm?
