I'm an ex-Catholic. I like to say I was raised in fundamentalist Catholicism, because it gives the right impression, even though traditional Catholicism is a more accepted term and not just a phrase I made up. I'm a computer programmer because I'm good at it and it pays well, but I aspire to work full time in animal rescue. I have 8 pets and hope someday to turn my house into an animal shelter or sanctuary of some kind. I still feel a pretty big gap in having community, so hoping to find some connections here!
