Let's be honest, who's getting laid more?

That's the fucked up thing about christians. They don't believe in birth control either, so they get it on without protection, get pregnant, abort the child, pray to their god for forgiveness and then do it all over again. Rinse and repeat.

If we're talking about a $30,000.00 bond, chances are you're looking at an individual who is being charged with a pretty serious crime as well as presentation to the court of compelling suspicion by the authorities. Either that, or the authorities feel as though the individual poses a big flight risk. I keep the money.

webbew1 comments on May 27, 2018:
I try to get myself out of my routine. Maybe even get laid if possible. If I have the funds, nothing gets my groove back better than hopping on a plane, going somewhere exotic and meeting women who are looking to have some no strings attached fun with a non-local.
I'd love to move back home to Ireland. Anyone else feeling homesick?
webbew1 comments on May 27, 2018:
No. I'm from a non-descript small town in Nebraska. Very little to be homesick for. Most of the people from my home town are either farmers or small business owners. Practically all are extremely religious. Not really my kind of folks. The place ain't much to look at either. Flat planes filled with corn fields, wheat fields, bean fields and cows. The whole area smells of cow shit, which you actually get used to when you live there, but it's pretty annoying once you return after being away for awhile. I'm perfectly happy living in the city these days, thank you very much. I've had more than my fill of small town living.

webbew1 comments on May 27, 2018:
Most people, excluding those who are born with severe mental deficiencies such as sociopathic tendencies, are who they are based on the culmination of their experiences. Both good and bad. A child who is otherwise born with no mental deficiencies but has been locked in a basement their whole life and has known nothing but horror will act no differently than a rabid dog. A child who is born with no mental deficiencies and has grown up in an ideal environment filled with love and support will be a well balanced individual. Most of us fall somewhere in the middle.

webbew1 comments on May 27, 2018:
No. Keeping secrets is not ok. That being said, there are lines you do not cross. Questions you don't ask because it's none of your business. For example, are you STD free is a perfectly acceptable question to ask. Who are your former sex partners and what did you do with them in bed, is not.

Should I let my 11 year old watch Deadpool?
webbew1 comments on May 26, 2018:
The first blatantly sexual film I saw with my dad was Porky's. My parents started allowing me to go to R rated movies with their accompaniment at the age of 13, and prior to seeing Porky's my dad and I went to see Private Benjiman and Stripes. Needless to say, both are considerably more tame in the T & A category than Porky's. Being a small town catholic school kid, Porky's was quite a shock. Especially seeing it with my dad. Quite honestly, I was far more uncomfortable than my dad was with the proceedings. He was laughing his ass off. I was squirming in my seat a bit. So I guess it all depends on a couple of things: 1) Do you feel as though your kids are mature enough to handle the sexual content in Deadpool and to separate reality from the fiction being portrayed on the screen? 2) Do you think your kids would even be comfortable watching such content in your presence? Your call!

webbew1 comments on May 25, 2018:
Sadly, the awesome late career surge Dylan went through from 1997-2012 with Love And Theft, Time Out Of Mind, Modern Times and Tempest appears to be over. He's put out a couple of half hearted cover records since 2012 and from what I've heard his live shows have been equally as half hearted. Perhaps age is catching up to him or perhaps he's just no longer inspired at the level he used to be, but this may be one you might want to skip.

If Burma became free of all threats of Islamic terrorism.
webbew1 comments on May 24, 2018:
Are you referring to Myannmar? As far as I know, the country hasn't been called Burma in quite some time. The stability of the whole Golden Triangle region is always a concern. Not just Myannmar. There are too many factions in play in the region to simply put the brunt of the blame on one group. To think that if the region was somehow cleared of Islamic influences there would suddenly be ushered in a long period of peace and prosperity is to fail to fully understand the gravity of the situation. Over the past half century, Thailand has been the stabalizing force which gives the whole Golden Triangle region what tenuous stability that it holds on to. Following the passing of King Bhumibol Adulyadej a couple of years ago, time will tell if this holds sway. Most recently, Myannmar has seemed to have far more issues with militant Buddhist factions than any other group. The human rights violations these monsters have perpetrated upon their own people make North Korea look like a school yard bully calling a kid four eyes.

Not gonna happen. There's too much money flowing in to Nevada via legalized prostitution. Nevada hasn't received a dime of government funding in forever because they allow legalized prostitution, and still they manage to use the money generated from the trade to help keep up the highways, fund their school system and libraries and keep local government offices operating. Even if these idiots somehow manage to make brothels illegal, the business will simply move to the internet where authorities will have very little control over it and will have to commit increasing finances and human resources towards it just to try and keep up.

Does appearance start the ball rolling?
webbew1 comments on May 23, 2018:
I'm butt ugly and have a gimp right eye to boot. Not exactly babe magnet material here. That being said, I've been fortunate enough to have been physically intimate with some very attractive women. It comes from not really giving a shit about the lemons fate has put in my basket and going out and getting what I want anyway. Of course, the women I get with ultimately wind up with better looking guys who have more money, but I go in knowing that's likely going to happen sooner or later. I just enjoy the time I share with them for as long as they want to stick around. There are three keys to getting with beautiful women if you are not a particularly attractive guy: 1) Be confident. As I said, not giving a damn about the lemons life has dealt you and going out and getting what you want anyway goes a long way towards your own happiness as well as capturing the attention of beautiful women. 2) Have something to offer other than your looks. Nice dinners, romantic vacations and gifts go a long way towards impressing beautiful women and getting them to overlook your flaws. If you're not exactly wealthy, save your money and travel to countries like Thailand and Costa Rica where beautiful women are ostricized by the male population simply because they do not have fair enough skin. With a few American dollars in your pocket, you'll suddenly find that you have more female attention from beautiful women that you could previously only dream about than you can possibly even begin to handle. In fact, there will come a point where you'll quite literally have to lock youself in your hotel room just to take a break from it all. 3) Don't be so uptight about establishing a long term relationship with just one person. Relax. Enjoy the time you have with the person you're seeing until they decide to move on. Then wish her well and go out and get another one. Someone once said that variety is the spice of life. I can tell you from personal experience that this is true. While all my married friends are knee deep in shitty diapers, bills and college savings accounts, I'm off traveling to exotic locations and sleeping with some of the most beautiful women in the world. It's a pretty damn good life, I must say.

webbew1 comments on May 21, 2018:
The problem is, commercial radio hasn't been any good since the 70's. It somehow manages to get worse every single year. Every time you think that the bar can't possibly go any lower, it does. You have to work a little harder these days to find actual talented recording artists. Fortunately, with the internet it's a whole lot easier than it was back in the 80's and 90's when the record companies could shove any empty, soulless garbage they wanted down your throat and the only way around it was college radio, word of mouth and going out to small clubs to catch touring acts. There's still great music out there to be found. Meaningful music that touches the mind and soul, played by skilled, gifted and imaginative musicians. It just takes an online connection and a little bit of effort to find it. And please make the effort to seek out these artists and lend your support by going to see them live and buying their merchandise. Recording artists make very little money off of their recorded music, so while buying their records is nice, the only way to really support them is through concert attendance and merchandise sales.

webbew1 comments on May 21, 2018:
Sure. Science and religion can co-exist. In fact, the very nature of science demands that it be so. Science, or the scientific method if you will, is an ever expanding and changing catalogue of postulates and theoroms based upon the laws of physics as we currently understand them. A person of science can identify as an agnostic, but they cannot identify as an athiest. To identify as an athiest is to deny the very nature of why science exists and the long term goals which it sets out to accomplish.
What are your views on meaningless sex?
webbew1 comments on May 21, 2018:
There is no such thing as meaningless sex. You can share a wonderful and meaningful sexual experience with someone which lasts a couple of hours, a couple of weeks, a couple of years or a lifetime. Meaningful experiences with other human beings should not have a criteria attached to them. If it was good and fulfilling for the parties involved for as long as it lasted, then that's all that matters.

Not sure what the big deal with purity and virginity is. I personally have no interest in establishing sexual relationships with women who are "saving themselves for marriage." All this tells me is that they likely possess a very low sex drive. What is there to make me believe that they're suddenly going to want to have sex at least a couple of times a week just because I put a ring on their finger? As far as I'm concerned, men who are looking for virgins better get really good at self gratification, because they'll likely spend a whole lot of wasted time and energy begging and groveling for every rare sexual encounter that their partner grants them.

Run around the room with my arms flailing about in the air screaming, "WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!"

I had a buddy who kept being bothered by Jehovah's Witnesses. One day they showed up at his door right after he just dropped a motorcycle engine on his foot. Needless to say, he was not in a good mood. So instead of sending them away, he let them in and told them to have a seat on the couch. He then limped to his room and grabbed copies of the Bible, the Koran and the Satanic Bible, slapped them down in his coffee table and said, "ok.... let's talk". After sitting there quietly with shocked looks on their faces for what must have been quite some time, they excused themselves and left. Never to return again.
Would someone explain to me why the U.S. is allied with Israel, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the UAE?

As Betty Bowers recently pointed out, the only reason that christians are siding with Isreal is so that their god can destroy it during the rapture. Without Israel, they don't get their rapture. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
How comfortable are you farting in public?

I try to avoid such things, but there are times when excusing one self is impossible and holding it becomes increasingly unpleasant.

Most of us aren't poets but many have a favourite verse that they carry with them.

There once was a man from Nantucket.... But seriously, folks. It's a bit greeting card esque, but I've always found Robert Frost's, Two Roads Diverged In A Yellow Wood to be an excellent reflection on life choices and the acceptance of one's fate based on those choices.
Any Johnny Cash fans? What’s your favorite song(s)?

Sunday Morning Sidewalk is my favorite Cash track. But there are so many classics credited to the Johnny Cash library.
Men and women are NOT equal.

Men and women each have their own strengths and weaknesses. We are meant to work together to enhance each others strengths and shore up each others weaknesses. Neither sex is superior nor inferior to the other.

When was the last time the religion of choice was held accountable for the death of some anti-science/ anti-vaxer's kid due to lack of medical care? Answer: Never. The court system tries and convicts the parents. Same principle applies here. As far as I can tell, the individuals who participate in this fucked up cult are there of their own free will, which is why this guy has probably been allowed to carry on with his little clown show. If you want to stop giving power to douche bags like this, then figure out what and who fuels their agenda. Without willing participants, this guy is likely just another obscure loser still living in his mom's basement at the age of 52. At some point, adults need to be held responsible for making adult decisions. And that includes being held responsible for joining fucked up polygamy cults. The only real victims here are the kids, who have no power of self choice and are not cognitively developed enough to say no.
