With the shredded pork the spices are all in whatever BBQ sauce you make. In the posole, I put chili powder, cumin, oregano, but I also put some tomatillos, chopped Green chiles, and lotsa jalapenos. You eat it with fresh chopped cilantro on top. ?

And you're right, although the understanding of the entanglement phenomenon is getting better, it's a stretch to infer any kind of causality here. But they have well designed experiments looking at it. I'm for science, but I haven't seen any evidence to support this kind of thing yet.
