My girls handled their own dating life. I kept a close eye on them through HS and let them take some bumps. I made sure they knew how to prevent unintended consequences. They had a few hard lessons, but have made good choices as adults.

When a daughter gets to adult stage it is time for her to set her own path. Dads or moms should not be be lifelong baby sitters. My daughter has made lots of mistakes and she is living with them (I did as well so I have no room to talk). One thing a parent should not do is to take sides when their kids are having marital problems. My first 2 relationships were interfered with by the parents and guess what, I came out ahead and the daughters are still suffering.

Yeah and same rules apply to all those thirsty ass girls hanging around my son like he was something special. Which of course he is.

Rules for dating my daughter:-

Treat her with dignity and respect as an equal.
