Is it weird that I feel worse about losing celebri-cats Lil Bub and Grumpy than I do losing most all humans? Just asking, for a friend.
Agreed, our pets are better than people.
They may have brought you more joy than a lot of humans - so no.
I still believe this is why people grieve their pets so hard - they're the family members who never cause deliberate misery. On the contrary they give a lot of joy asking very little in return.
