While I can't claim to have learned someone's routine in order to avoid them , there have been a few times when I saw someone a long way off down the hall headed in my direction , and I turned off into a different hallway , in order to avoid them .

This makes me think of the tragic story of [Amy Harwick](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8021773/Restraining-orders-document-catalog-abuse-Amie-Harwick-suffered-ex-boyfriend.html[)] (ex-fiancee of comedian Drew Carey) who was murdered by one of her previous ex-boyfriends.
