When asked about introversion, I describe it as being a battery... Fully charged up after awakening... Exposure to people discharges the battery. The discharge rate depends on the person or people that I am exposed to. Some people can drain the battery in minutes. And others don't have such a draining effect on the battery. Time alone (or with my dog) recharges the battery, even a brief period while an extroverts batteries are charged by being around people.
Well said. Excellent concept. I have no tolerance for obnoxious people especially motor months.I refuse to be a captive audience to personality disorders. Life's too short.
Spot on! Just spent a beautiful sunny day alone with my critters. Took my dog to the beach, we went to the pet store where she had a great time (she is an extrovert by nature and enjoyed being around more people). I let people talk to her and I didn't have to say a word. Was great!
