Natacha Atlas is a Belgian/Egyptian singer who combines East with West with her fusion of Arab and European music which she herself describes as “cha abi moderne”. Here she sings Habibi which is strongly influenced by Maghrebain or Moorish music…from the western part of the Maghreb desert in Morocco.

@Marionville Yes, sometimes they just don't seem to post the singer doing the song...kind of a shame.

That is a clip from a movie…but I don’t know it’s name. It has Orlando Bloom and Eva Green starring in it. Will have to Google it!
