So in last night's game, Machado clipped Aguilar while running to first. Did you see it happen? What are your thoughts? Dirty play or no?

First some facts. Aguilar was covering 3/4 of the bag. Machado was out by almost a full step. First basemen are trained to step off the bag the instant the ball is caught.

My opinion: Because Aguilar stayed on the bag long after he should have vacated, and because Machado had very little room to go by, this was not a dirty play. I am a Dodgers fan, but I'd like to think I'd hold the same opinion if I weren't.
